This is random but....

I know that this is totally random, but I really want to bake a little cake in a mug. Or anything, for that matter, as long as it is baked in a mug. Or single serving I guess. I just love little single serving desserts, honestly. They are so darn cute!

Yes, I've been looking at recipes today. How did you guess?

Sigh. It is great to be homeschooled. I can usually get all of my schoolwork done in an hour or so, including homework for my co-op. Then I have the rest of the day free! It is so awesome! That is all going to change next year, but that is for another post. (Yes, I know I went from talking about desserts in mugs to school. My mind changes topic quickly at times...)

Ok. I'm going to go look for some more recipes for single serving desserts (preferably) in mugs. :)

For All You LOTR Fans

If you are a LOTR fan, then keep reading.

If you are a One Direction fan, keep reading.

If you are both a LOTR fan AND a One Direction fan, definitely keep reading!

I saw this video a while ago on FB and remembered it today. Of course, I had to watch it! Then, while watching it, I had a brilliant idea. I could post this video on my blog! {I know, I'm amazing, aren't I? And humble, too! ;)}

Well, I won't keep you in suspense any longer. Without further ado, I announce, 'One Ring'!

Well? Did ya like it? Huh, huh? Did ya!? Did ya!?

I hope you all did! I know that I love it! And it keeps my siblings from singing this:

(WARNING! IF YOU HAVE YOUNGER SIBLINGS THAT LOVE TO ANNOY YOU, PROCEED WITH CAUTION WHEN WATCHING THIS VIDEO! SEE BELOW FOR SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING!)

Uncontrollable giggling.

Enjoy!

And this:

Now just imaging two kids singing these songs. (At the top of their lungs, of course!

Who's on my Playlist: Reba McEntire

Ok. I have a confession to make. I absolutely love country music. Like really love. I barely listen to anything else. Except Celine Dion and Adele, my playlists are basically all country music.

Seeing that I listen to music so much, I'm thinking on starting a segment called: Playing Who's on my Playlist, or something like that. Then I will list a song by an artist that I'm currently obsessed with. (It changes a lot...)

What do you guys think? I know the imaginary voice in my head approves!

So, here we go!

A singer who I have been listening to a lot lately is Reba McEntire.

She is one of the Queens of Country Music and totally has some powerhouse vocals!

Here is one of her songs:
This video is from back in the 90's, when she looked like this:

Have you listened to the song? What do you think?

Ok, now that you know my favorite genre of music, I'd love to know yours! And who is currently your favorite artist? Tell me in the comments below!

Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Christ is Risen, He is risen indeed! Alleluia, Alleluia!

I hope that you all had a wonderful day!

I started the day off by making some Gluten Free/Dairy Free Cinnamon Raisin Scones. They were delicious!

Then my family and I went to Mass. After Mass there was an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos and they had a blast, even though they couldn't keep the candy. (We try to eat pretty healthy: Whole, natural organic foods.) However, they did get to keep all the little toys and trinkets that they found. When we got home our Dad had arrived from Spokane, where he works, and we had a nice quiet afternoon. I honestly don't remember when I last felt so relaxed, lounging on the couch with a good book and a bar of chocolate. :) (My mom filled our Easter baskets with yummy organic chocolate bars and other candies, as well as tea and dental floss...I think she was hinting at something...(;)

Dad made an awesome dinner of Eggs Benedict: Half an English muffin topped with ham and a poached egg drizzled with hollandaise sauce. It was amazing!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter!

TTFN!
