Hello world.
It's been an extremely long time since I've posted on here. I apologize. I have no good explanation for this absence except life. Life happens, and sometimes certain things just need to be set aside for a while in order for one to keep their sanity intact. In my case it was both blogging and writing in general. Except essays. I've written tons of essays.
These last few years haven't been easy. It took me most of my freshman year to really adjust to going to a public school. It was just so different from being home schooled. It was definitely a bit of a culture shock. It took me a while, but I eventually got the hang of it and made some good friends that I am still close to today. So, that was freshman year. And as challenging as it was, it has definitely been the easiest year of my high school career. Sophomore year was just hard in general, with a mix of personal issues, friend drama, and school stress. I've always sort of dealt with shyness and anxiety, but it really started to get bad last year. This year, my junior year, has had its own challenges. Let's just say when you put a person with pretty bad social anxiety into a drama/speech class, it doesn't bode well for their mental health.... But I'm getting through it okay. I'm now facing that lovely task of taking the SAT and narrowing down the colleges I would like to apply to, and what I want to do with my life. However, that's a topic for another post. ;)
I will hopefully be doing a bit more blogging now. I really have missed it, and I need to write something besides essays on the Vietnam War and Moby Dick. I can't promise any regular posts, but I will post as often as I can.
Hasta luego, mis amigos.

Day 4
Today is day 4 of the 30 day song challenge. Today's song is a song that makes me sad.
For todays song I chose this one: I Wonder by Kellie Pickler
For todays song I chose this one: I Wonder by Kellie Pickler
This song was written by Kellie, about her mom abandoning her when she was little.
I can't really think of anything to say. My brain is tired and fried from a week of school. I'm going to go waste some time, and go to bed.
Good night, peeps.

It Makes Me Happy
Day three of the 30 day song challenge. Today's song is a song that makes me happy. I had to think about it for a bit, but I finally decided on:
9 to 5 by Dolly Parton:
This is just such an upbeat song. It always makes me smile! Also, whenever I hear it, I think of the 9 to 5 movie, which was absolutely hilarious. If you haven't seen it, you really need to!
Have a lovely evening, dearies!

Least Favorite Song
There are a few songs that I don't like. I'm not really into the pop stuff. I mean, I like Taylor Swift, but that's about it. Unless you count Celine Dion and Josh Groban as pop.
Anyway, one of my least favorite songs is: Made in America by Cimorelli.
Maybe it's because my sister played it nonstop all summer, but I honestly don't like this song. Something about it just annoys me.
Well, I've got to run!

PS: I would have posted this yesterday, but my sister took over the computer for school related reasons. So you'll get another post later, probably.

30 Day Song Challenge
Ok, I know I don't have a huge amount of time on my hands currently, but I am going to start this 30 day song challenge that Treskie has been doing over at her blog.
Here we go:
Day 1 is My Favorite Song. Note that song is singular. This thing is going to be harder than I thought.....
Anywhoo.
One of my favorite songs right now is:
February Song by Josh Groban
Isn't it gorgeous? I simple can't describe how much I love this song. I'm not even going to try.

Sorry!!
Hi everyone!
I am so sorry that I haven't been posting or commenting on all of your blogs lately! I am so busy that I barely have time to think. I'm kind of just having to focus on the immediate future, like what homework is due tomorrow. So I probably won't be blogging much in the near future. I'll try to do a couple of posts a month, but I just have a lot going on right now, so please know that if you do not hear from me for a month or so, I am not ignoring you, or dead, just busy with school and life. Mostly school..... :/
I hope that everything is well with all of you! <3
